The taste of sound can be described exactly as the smell of several colors echoing through our eyes. The mixture of all these feelings tell us a lot about Erok Wol's proposal behind his new work for LISERX: Szinestezia! A journey through the unreal deconstruction of all our senses, going straight to the transcendence of our soul.
The first track, called "Xtrategia", brings us to a dark and transcendental mood, filled with modular, melodic and dirty synths, which work along with the hypnotic percussion to create a break beat delay with afro and tropical elements. The track "Lunatikonfuszion", the second of the EP, possesses an hypnotic arpejiated bassline, which, in synchrony with the chords of an acoustic guitar, followed by a Synth complemented with arpeggio, brings a true mental confusion. The third track, called "Szinestezia" brings unrythm beats, dark melodies and cosmic modulated pads, which together, create a dancing and Hypnotic flow, showing us why it is the title track of the EP. We finish with "Lysergsäurediethylamid", a frenetic track, filled with acid synths, a brute bassline and lysergic drums, going far off the conventional.
